Summary
In “Change,” on the way to college, Georgia’s mother told her it was possible she would meet a man she liked in college. Georgia hoped that was true.
In “Rooney,” Georgia panicked when she learned that she was one of the few students at Durham who would have a roommate. Rooney Durham was a talkative girl who smiled constantly. Later, Georgia noticed Rooney had tacked a photo of a girl with dyed red hair on the wall. Rooney got an odd expression on her face when Georgia asked if that was Rooney’s friend was home.
Later, the two discovered they both liked acting. Rooney said they should join the Durham Student Theater together. Rooney added she was most looking forward to joining the Shakespeare Society.
