In Chapter 21, the bright light of Jack’s room wakes Elsie. She tells him she knows where this thing between them is going. They have sex. Both climax.

Jack and Elsie have sex again in Chapter 22. Elsie feels happy as they shower together. Jack makes them breakfast. Elsie changes her insulin pod in front of Jack. They watch the rest of Twilight. Elsie asks Jack if he has checked on Millicent recently and he says he has. Jack says he can tell Millicent likes Elsie, even though Millicent hates everyone.
