Eleven and Twelve Summary
In Chapter Eleven, Belinda senses the sorrow that her brother is feeling about Abe's arm. One day she decides to talk about the matter with him. She suggests that he talk to their mother and father about what has happened between himself and Arnie. Marty has already noticed that Arnie has distanced himself from the family and wonders what is wrong. Luke has noticed the boy is not using his left arm. He explains to Belinda that the way the arm was broken and twisted, he was unable to get the bones to line up properly. Although he'd hoped they might adjust as they healed, this hadn't happened.
