Summary

In Chapter 19, Olive spent one day crying in bed. The next day she took charge of her life again. She emailed Dr. Aslan to ask if she would intervene on her behalf toY see if any researchers would show any interest in Olive’s work. She began preparing her work as a scholarly publication so that her findings would be credited under her name. She realized that Tom’s threat to steal her research was a backhanded compliment.

That afternoon, Anh and Malcolm came to her room. They suggested that she go sightseeing with them. She agreed, but said she needed to send her recording to Aslan first.
