Summary

In Chapter 3, Olive visited Adam’s office to tell him that she had decided to accept his offer of a fake dating relationship. She had noticed her colleagues and other faculty members had been nicer to her since the rumors about her dating Adam began to circulate. She decided it was a benefit she wanted to keep.

Olive laid down some rules for the relationship. First, she told him their relationship was only an on-campus arrangement. She said their relationship would not involve sex, to which he responded he did not expect sex and was surprised she even felt the need to bring it up.
