Summary

In Chapter 12, in the next journal entry, Hadley described how X told her that he loved her during a visit to the statue The Rape of the Sabine Women. Hadley made him repeat the words because she thought she had not heard right. After X told Hadley he loved her, she noted that their relationship had been up and down. He seemed extra careful to keep their relationship a secret.
