Emailing
The switch back to email represents a regression in Simon and Bram's relationship. Email was the form of communication that they used in secret for the first five months of their relationship during their junior year of high school. In contrast, Leah and Abby use email as a new form of communication, in addition to calling and texting one another and being roommates.
