Summary

In Chapter 6, Lorna encounters her granddaughter Julie (Peggy's daughter) on her way to the convenience store. Julie is in the neighborhood for a meeting of the Circle of Faith – a group that sponsors several outreach programs. The group is the reason the English dignitary is in the area. At the store, Lorna is shocked to encounter Philip Train. They attended college together. Philip is now an Episcopalian reverend. He addresses her by her maiden name, Morgan.
