The Los Angeles Institute

The Los Angeles Institute is where Emma and the Blackthorns live as a family unit, though the Institute is open to any Shadowhunter who wants to stay there. When the Centurions arrive, the Blackthorns wind up having to leave. The Institute is large with lots of bedrooms available, along with an extensive library, a large attic where Arthur spends most of his time, and a studio where Julian paints. There are typical amenities, such as a dining room, kitchen, and many bathrooms.
