Summary

In Chapter 26, Walk in Shadow, Emma and Christina talk about the recent developments in her relationships with Mark and Kieran. Emma teases Christina, but gently, and later warns Kieran not to hurt Christina. Kieran asks Christina to provide a ground for him while he makes magical contact with his brother. She agrees, but instead of seeing Adaon materialize in his vision, they see the Unseelie King. Mark's wrist begins hurting and he rushes to Christina's room. The king restores Kieran's memories. Kiearan knows he and Mark broke up and that Mark has lied to him about that in order to manipulate Kieran into testifying to the Clave. He leaves the room, furious and unwilling to listen to any explanations from Mark or Christina.

Magnus and Julian are alone. Julian asks Magnus why he is helping them. Magnus says Clary and Jace asked him...
