Chapter 12-14 Summary

When Thomas wakes up he is on the boat and Foamfollower is steering the boat but looks very sickly. He talks to Thomas for a time and explains to Thomas how the steering of the boat works in a short story. Foamfollower is steering the boat. Thomas is surprised that one night of steering the boat did that to the giant but then he learns that the drink he took made him sleep for two nights and a day. Thomas is surprised and offers to help Foamfollower with the boat but there is nothing he can do.

Thomas and the giant become friends and Thomas explains a little about the ring and his pains and Foamfollower hands him a piece of sticky tape to conceal the ring that holds the white magic power so that he will not be judged so...
