Point of View

"Looking for Me" is told from the first person perspective of the main character, Teddi. This allows readers to experience Teddi’s thoughts and actions, and how she’s truly feeling about the events of the book. This is important since so many of the events involve Teddi being alone. Using the first person perspective like this makes it almost seem like the events are being directly narrated to the reader through Teddi.
