Latimer Middle School

Latimer Middle School is the school that is the central location for all the events in the novel. The school is described only as needed for the author to describe events that are taking place. For example, Cynthia leaves by the front door of the school, even though another door provides a more direct route to her house. The hallway is described as Simeon runs down it with Kenzi on his back. As the novel comes to an end, Canton spends a little time with the janitor, Mr. Much, in the bathroom and in a supply closet.
