Will Holloman
Will is a 15-year-old boy. He is distraught over his older brother Shawn’s recent death. He refuses to show his emotions about this traumatic situation in an attempt to comply with the societal rules established by the people in his neighborhood.
Will decides to shoot Carlson Riggs, who he believes killed Shawn. He bases this decision on another unspoken rule within his neighborhood, which requires him to seek revenge on the person who killed his loved one.
