Rita, a beautician, rises at 5:30 AM, and angrily makes a list of things she wants and wants not to do when newlyweds Ken and Daisy visit. Husband Jeffery is enthusiastic about showing them around London, even though Rita and Ken had lived together for a year in Cardiff, Wales. Rita had broken off the relationship and moved to London, where she meets and marries utterly predictable, cliché-spouting Jeffery a year ago. By contrast, Ken had always been unpredictable. They had enjoyed criticizing others' taste and, in particular, others' behavior in restaurants.
