Summary

Chris returns home in time for dinner in Chapter 6, only to find that it is not just a dinner for himself and his parent, but it is a dinner party for his father, Marcus Shane, and his prospective partners. Chris is upset by this but his mother tells him that he should not mind and that her thoughts are more on his moving out of the home. After discussing with her his reasons for moving out, Chris goes to check on his body and to talk to his nurse. The nurse gives Chris more medicine for his tooth pain after the afternoon's molar extraction, and Chris is able to examine the bedsores on his body. He feels slightly dizzy as he does this, and makes the visit quick. Afterwards, he goes into the "trophy room," but he is shocked to find Nicholas Bell...
