Summary
In “Leo,” set in the present, Leo describes that Delilah is scared the first night at home. When their father tells her to sit, she sits on the floor. Instead of correcting her, they all sit on the floor to eat their dinner.
In “Meredith,” set 11 years before in March, on the way to work the following morning, Meredith receives another threatening text that states: “I know what you did. You’ll never get away with it, bitch” (88).
