Summary
In "Antigua," though Marvin's grades are failing, he does not care. He has become "a dragon with a boy inside him" (94). After Lis releases him from the shop, Marvin rolls around the streets, desperate "to reach the snow" (95). Suddenly someone picks him up. Eventually he realizes it is the boy with the ring. He brings Marvin to a dance hall filled with other kentukis. The boy has freed all of them. Marvin's father demands he come downstairs. During dinner, Marvin worries about his dragon's safety.
In "Zagreb—Cartagena," Grigor has sold 23 "pre-established kentuki connections" (99). His work has made him realize that more people are becoming "interested in watching than in being watched" (100). He wonders about privacy and voyeurism. Though his work is going well, some of the kentuki connections disturb Grigor. He has to disconnect the devices kept by strange individuals.
