Summary
In "South Bend," teenagers Robin, Katia, and Amy play with their panda bear kentuki. Though Robin does not want to, she joins in as the others "show their tits" to the camera inside the bear (1). Robin realizes they can communicate with the person on the other side of the kentuki using a Ouija board. The kentuki reveals how much he knows about Robin's private life. Disgusted, Amy and Katia leave. Robin wishes she could break the kentuki, but knows "the only way to turn it off was to wait for its battery to run out" (8).
In "Lima," Emilia activates the newest present from her son. After moving to Hong Kong, he barely communicates with her, sending her expensive gadgets instead. Once the program activates, a girl appears on Emilia's screen. Emilia is frustrated she cannot answer the girl's questions. Then she...
