February Becky Summary

Becky comes home from work to find Andrew staring glumly at a handwritten letter from Mimi, saying she never wants to see them again. She has to suppress the urge to break into a buck and wing and belt out, "Happy Days Are Here Again." He hands her the letter and tells her to read it. She reads that Mimi has been hurt by the actions of "you and your wife," that she can't imagine what she's done to make him feel this way, that he's treated her with a shameful lack of respect and that she's always tried to do what's best for him, even sacrificing her own wishes to give him everything he wanted and needed.
