Chapters 11 - 15 (Pages 60 - 96) Summary

In chapter eleven, Betsy tells the reader that she loves movies and classic movie stars like Cliff Robertson.

Betsy, M.N. and Elizabeth all wait or Lisa after school one day. Isa has agreed to meet them at the end of the day. When Lisa does not show up, M.N. becomes irritated. Elizabeth is unfazed and she goes home. Betsy notices feeling a certain amount of anxiety and they all part ways.

Betsy continues to do more research. She learns about Pavlov's experiments with salivating dogs. Betsy also reads about something called the "approach-avoidance" conflict.
