Epilogue Summary
After the fall of the very short lived, but brutal rebellion, Jonathan sends out curriors all over the kingdom to explain that there will be no weeks long celebration of Coronation Day. Instead, in honor of those who died, Tortall will mourn and rebuild. One year from this day, they will have a great festival, and Jonathan will ride out amongst his people as no king has since his grandfather's day.
Thayet and Buri come to visit Alanna at her tribe. They bring news of the school that Thayet has started back in the capital city, and they talk of other things.
