Chapter 15 Summary

Joanne helps Moore do his painful leg exercises, Daphne Farnsworth comes to visit John Moore. She is with Constable Rogers who has orders to place Daphne in the custody of Ed Banning. She signs Daphne into the custody of John after seeing his credentials. After the constable leaves, Barbara finds out that Daphne is pregnant with Steve Koffler's baby.

Moore tells Daphne that they are looking for words they can use to send a message to Steve Koffler. Moore says that he will help her and the baby with money. Joanne finds out that Moore is wealthy and wants to marry her.

Hart is aboard an Australian plane over the Solomon Sea. They are looking for a submarine. The crew begins to toss packages out of the Catalina. These are rafts that inflate. The men jump into a raft. They manage to load...
