Summary
This section starts with a Stephen notecard “#76 Madonna” (330). Stephen explains that Madonna is not ashamed - and this makes her powerful. He says “She was, and is, a revolution” (330).
Reza’s perspective begins as he explains how they are all getting to Maryland for the protest. He and Art are currently on the train, and Art wants to play “Count the fags” (332). Reza protests to him using that word but Art says he is reclaiming it. They walk the aisles as Art counts, talking about his gaydar. When they get back to their seats Art kisses Reza but Reza is paranoid about kissing him in public. Reza asks if he is nervous to see Judy and Art says he is, and does not know what to say to her anymore. Art talks about the two of them staying in a hotel room together...
