Isla Crown

Isla is Lightlark’s main character and the ruler of the realm of Wildling. Although this would normally mean she is blessed with magical powers relating to nature, her mother’s death soon after she was born left her powerless. Or at least that’s what she’s been taught by Terra and Poppy, surrogate parents who are focused on raising the child to compete in the Centennial. Since the ruler of each realm acts as a conduit for all of the life-giving magic which a realm’s population depends on, Isla’s lack of powers has resulted in her realm slowly being drained of life. For that reason, Isla was raised with the sole purpose of winning the Centennial so she can restore life to her realm.
