Summary

In Chapter 36, It is revealed that infrastructure across the island has been collapsing since the ball. After searching all the dark-meets-light zones, Oro and Isla are forced to return to Moon Isle, where Cleo has fled to hide in her own castle. They fly onto the island to evade detection and, traversing through the frozen wasteland, they reach the oracles, who had been frozen after trying to assist Nightshade in the great war. The oracle reveals the heart is somewhere on Moon Isle, many people are lying to Isla, and that one of the rulers will be dead in six days.

At the beginning of Chapter 37, Isla is feeling homesick. She uses her starstick to take a peek at the Wilding realm only to discover her homeland has been razed to the ground. She finds Terra, her guardian, dying and slowly becoming one...
