Summary

After eight days of absence, Oro returns in Chapter 30, explaining that he needed to pursue and lure one of the creatures out of hiding. They go to unkempt Star Isle where Oro summons a ghost-woman before them. The spirit demands to possess Isla — the most beautiful girl on the isle — for a few moments. In exchange for this, Isla demands that Oro give her access to the Sunling library. After possessing Isla, the specter gives a cryptic warning about the island being under threat before disappearing. Although Isla wants to go to the library, Oro insists that they must find the heart before she is granted that privilege. They get into a heated argument which ends with her saying she will go to the library alone.
