Summary
“Twenty-Six Imaginary T-Shirts” is a poem consisting simply of a list of t-shirt ideas, ranging from concepts as simple as text that says “Anonymous” to as complex as a philosophical math problem, such as “If Mary wakes an hour/early for a month, at the end of that month/Mary will have more than a day. How much time will/Mary have by May?” (60). Other ideas consist of images as well, such as a map of the United States above a caption that reads, “The only thing that fucks you/up more than poverty is wealth” (60).
