Summary
In “Chapter 6: Scary Stories,” Beau gets teased at lunch for fainting and for sitting the day before with Edythe. At dinner, Charlie is glad that Beau will be going to the beach at La Push with his friends. The next morning, the sun is shining. All of Beau’s friends exclude him, except McKayla. They go hiking before settling down to eat. A group of teenagers from the reservation join them. A girl a couple years younger than Beau approaches him. Her name is Jules and she explains that she is the daughter of Charlie’s friend Bonnie and that they used to play together when they were little. Jules and Beau take a walk on the beach. She tells him about the tribal legend relating to her people, the Quileutes, and the Cullens. Supposedly, the ancient Quileutes were werewolves while the Cullens...
