Level 3 Summary
Dennis decided that med school was not for him. He didn't look forward to telling the angels but he had to level with them. But it wasn't easy and he had a hard time getting the words out. When he arrived, the angels were doing their usual thing of cleaning, sweeping and dusting. When he finally said, "I quit," the angels continued to go about their business, pretending they hadn't heard what Dennis said. But Dennis was determined to have the confrontation with the angels and tell them where he stood. He raised his voice and told them to pay attention to him. He began by acknowledging how much they had done for him and that he appreciated every single thing they did for him. He enjoyed every dinner they cooked and was grateful for every shirt they washed.
