Summary
Chapter 47 is written from Robin's perspective. It is her trial day at the jewelry store. She is using the name Bobbi Cunliffe. When the owner of the store leaves, Robin manages to bond with Flick, look for a note that Jimmy thinks Flick took from him and record a conversation between Jimmy and Flick.
Chapter 48 is written from the perspective of both Robin and Strike. Strike, Robin, and Barclay are meeting at the office. Matthew did not mind her going when she had called to tell him. She asks Strike how he had spent his day and finds out that he had followed Winn. After saying what Winn did for the day, they listen to Robin's recording. They hear Flick and Jimmy fighting and throwing accusations at each other. In the end, he wants her key so that he can search her apartment...
