Summary

Chapter 27 is written from the perspective of Robin. She and Matthew had fought when she returned from the hospital and are now not sleeping together. She stays because he is her husband, but wishes that she had left on their wedding day. On her way to work, Mitch Patterson accosts her trying to get her to talk to him about Chiswell. She calls Strike who tells her that the Sun thinks that she is the story they are after. Even though Robin wonders whether she should leave, they decide that she will stay. Strike is talking to her while following Dodgy and who is now giving him some of proof that his partner's suspicions are correct. Then Robin has to end the call because Izzy and Raphael arrive.
