Summary

In Chapter 4, Dorrie reminded Addie how badly she broke Jeb’s heart. She compared it to the breakup between Stuart and Chloe. Addie remembered how angry she had been with Chloe that day and winced because Dorrie compared her to Chloe. Dorrie tried to explain to Addie that she had a habit of getting wrapped up in her own drama and not thinking about people around her. Dorrie tried to convince Addie she did not think she was a “heartless, self-absorbed bitch” (256) which was how Addie interpreted her friend’s comment. She told Addie she thought that she should look deep into herself and see what needed to be changed before she tried to get back together with Jeb.

Tegan ended their evening on a happy note by telling them that Gabriel, her pet pig, was coming home...
