Summary
Arthur leaves Germany to go to Morocco. However, there is a miscommunication during his layover in Paris, and he must accept a flight to Morocco that departs at midnight that night. He decides to make the most of his unexpected time in Paris, so he contacts Alexander Leighton, a writer of the Russian River School who now lives in Paris. Alexander invites Arthur to a dinner party that night, and Arthur accepts the invitation. Arthur decides to fill the time before the party by walking around Paris. He recalls when he was last in Paris. It was on a trip with Freddy not long before their relationship ended. At the dinner party, Arthur encounters Finley Dwyer, the author who had indirectly castigated Arthur at the Wilde and Stein Literary Laurels. They converse, and Dwyer says that Arthur is a pariah in the LGBT...
