Summary

In Chapter Four, Leigh awakens in the middle of a storm. Myra comes to her room to spend time with her, confessing that she, too, is afraid of the storm. They find Tristin trapped inside his office, so Leigh rescues him. Leigh passes out and awakens in Myra’s room. Wanting to help clean up from the storm despite being injured, she goes to Tristin’s office to help sort through his desk. She finds the combination to a safe. She finds another note with the date of her parents’ death on it, and a dollar amount written under it. He explains that a shipment of pearls went missing that night, and that was the amount lost.
