Summary
Hough begins to detail her various relationships with women. She spends the majority of "How to Make an Enemy" discussing the evolution of her relationship with a woman named Rhonda. Rhonda pays for everything, takes Hough on vacation, and uses her money to manipulate Hough into staying with her. Hough tries to break up with Rhonda multiple times, but ends up dating her for more than two years. Toward the end of their relationship, Hough learns that Rhonda has only recently come out of the closet and that she is still married to her husband. They argue about which spaces are safe for them to visit, as Hough informs Rhonda of the bigotry and hate that exists toward gay people in the suburbs, where Rhonda lives. Eventually, Hough leaves Rhonda, and Rhonda sends her a bill for everything...
