Summary

This section starts with Freddy upset after leaving Doodle’s. She gets a text from Laura asking if she is free and the next page is the two of them making out, the only pink are in frames outside and separate from the two of them. Pages 227 - 228 have no dialogue, the only text includes sounds from Freddy and Laura’s text message. On page 229 Laura gets up to leave saying “Later, sucker!” and Freddy responds, “See ya.” and Laura looks back surprised (229). The bottom frame is Freddy in pink in her bed looking away.

At school, Freddy finds Doodle outside and asks her what she is going to do, and Doodle says, “I’m not keeping it, if that’s what you’re asking” (230). Doodle explains that she will get an abortion and go to a clinic. Page 231 includes three panels stacked...
