Central Park

Two important incidents in this novel are set in Central Park. When Jamie is in preschool he first recognizes that he can see dead people when he sees the bicycle man. This man’s face was bashed in when he had a bicycle accident. Jamie was scared by the sight of the man because he was so badly injured. Later, after it is discovered that Therriault is Thumper, Therriault shoots himself in the head while sitting on a bench in Central Park. Liz takes Jamie to Central Park to see if he can see Therriault’s ghost.

Cobblestone Cottage

Cobblestone Cottage is the name of Regis’ home. Liz and Tia take Jamie to Regis’ house to find Regis’ ghost. Jamie sees the ghost and asks questions about the plot of the novel so that his mother can write the final novel in his series.
