Summary
In Chapter 60, Jamie considered calling for Therriault for the first time at Marsden’s front door, but decided that should be a last resort. Jamie suspected Liz had been in the house before. He also believed she was the one who had shot Teddy.
Jamie pointed out to Liz that she had not asked him if he saw Marsden’s ghost. He also noticed that Liz did not seem upset when he said he did not see Marsden. Liz insisted Marsden was upstairs in his bedroom.
In the master bedroom, Marsden was laying on the bed. There were cuts on his arms and stomach that were still oozing blood. He was handcuffed to the bed. One eye was black and swollen, but the other blinked at Jamie. Jamie exclaimed that Marsden was alive. Liz replied she could fix that and shot him in...
