Summary
In Chapter 13, Jamie notes it was not fair for him to have to take responsibility for relaying the information about Regis’ novel, but he did not think they had a choice. Jamie’s mouth got dry from talking. He was grateful when Liz brought him her leftover Coke from their lunch. Jamie did not think that Liz believed he was actually talking to a dead person. So, he asked Regis if he could do something to prove he was real. Regis blew in Liz’s face. Liz squinted her eyes and stepped backward. Jamie told Liz that was Regis.
In Chapter 14, Jamie describes Liz as being very attractive. He says he liked her because she could be kind. She sometimes brought him Matchbox cars to add to his collection. However, he did not like how Liz looked at him strangely after the incident...
