Summary
Marlon Bundo is the pet bunny rabbit of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and his family, and this is the story of his "Very Special Day" (4). Like every day, Marlon wakes up, eats breakfast, and watches the news alone. He finds his house old, stuffy, and lonely so after breakfast he goes outside to see the flowers and say hello to the bugs. That is when he first meets Wesley, a beautiful bunny who makes Marlon feel "like [his] heart was still hopping" (6). Marlon and Wesley hop all over together, through the garden, the old stuffy house, and the Vice President's "Very Boring Meetings with Very Boring People" (9).
