Summary

In Chapter 19, after the award ceremony, Coach Graber gives a press conference. He asks that the reporters stick to questions about the game. Chip runs over to Stevie and Susan Carol and gives them a big hug. Stevie and Susan Carol explain how Jurgenson helped save them. Coach Graber comes up behind Chip to meet the "heroes." Chip says his bad playing wasn't an attempt to throw the game. Chip says he just couldn't concentrate until he saw that Stevie and Susan Carol were safe.

The next morning, Stevie and Susan Carol go to the FBI field office to give their statements. Applebaum says they haven't been able to find the dean.
