Chapters 15 and 16 Summary

In Chapter 15, chaos breaks out in the room when Lissa accepts the nomination. When Lissa leaves the Council room and is in private with everyone involved in his nomination, Lissa expresses her anger with them. Lissa asks who idea this was and Adrian tells her it was Rose's idea from when Adrian pulled Rose into his dream. A jolting move in Sydney's driving pulls Rose out of her spirit bond. They pull off into a gas station on the outskirts of Lexington to put the Strigoi's address, Donovan, into the GPS. The plan is to send Sydney into the shop, after covering her lily tattoo with makeup and her hair, to draw Donovan out to meet Dimitri.
