Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

In Chapter 7, Rose is lost wandering in the unfamiliar woods of West Virginia. Rose checks in on Lissa and the group is discussing being questioned and how the guardians will discover the explosion is not from magic, but from C-4. As Abe comes out of the interrogation room with the guardians, he smirks at the waiting group, letting them know everything is fine. During the questioning, Lissa acts surprised at Rose's escape and defends Dimitri's reason for helping Rose is because they were involved, not because he is Strigoi again. As Lissa leaves the interrogation, Eddie is waiting in the lobby for his interrogation. Abe appears near Lissa and Christina to find out how her interrogation went. As Abe, Lissa and Christian focus on how to find new evidence to clear Rose, Lissa reveals that Ambrose and Tatiana were romantically involved...
