Chapter 36-40 Summary
Chapter Thirty Six
Mack knows that the soldiers are getting too close and he needs to put some distance between him and them. Because of how close the soldiers are to Mack at this point is not able to hunt as often as he would like and he needs food. Mack starts a grass fire to slow down the soldiers that are following him. Later that night Mack ties up three men at their camp site. He talks to them briefly and takes their weapons and some food and leaves.
Chapter Thirty Seven
