Chapter 11- 15 Summary

Chapter Eleven

Mack finds a bear and kills it with only his bow and arrows. It takes him three shots but he finally takes down the large bear and quickly begins preparing the meat and the skin. Mack knows this skin will make him a very warm coat for the winter. Mack now has plenty of food and a lot of skins. After several more days of travel, Mack finally finds the village and the woman Yakov told him about. She is having what seems to be an argument with a man, so Mack waits until the man leaves before approaching her. Mack is sure this must be the woman Yakov told him to talk to.
