Ethics in Business
The drive to win in the business world often leads to unethical behavior. This was particularly true in late nineteenth century America, when the race was on to make the most breakthroughs yet to be conceived by the average mind. The competition for recognition and the greed for money were brutal in the race for success.
Indeed, this climate was the very reason for Paul's secure employment in the first place. As a lawyer he would be kept very busy with the continual lawsuits which were being filed, many of them originating from a single individual - Thomas Edison.
