Westinghouse's home, a rural estate just outside of Pittsburgh, is where Westinghouse spends as much time as possible. As a man of business and enterprise, he also takes the time to appreciate being surrounded by the outcome of his wealth.

Paul makes frequent visits to Westinghouse, which involves traveling via Westinghouse's private train, The train trips enhance Paul's sense of isolation from the real world.

The Lawyer

The lawyer's office is where Paul and his partners undertake all the laborious paperwork which continually confronts them. It is also the place where Paul launches his career, devises many of his cunning plans to outwit Edison, and where Agnes and her mother come to seek Paul's legal advice for the first time.
