Summary

Chapter 15: Networks

A deal was made in which Tesla would work for Westinghouse, and Paul finally asked why Westinghouse had hired him. Westinghouse replied that it was because of Paul's lack of experience and that he was unlikely to have any ties with Edison. Westinghouse's plan was to use Tesla's knowledge to create something so different from Edison's design that there would no longer be a case for a lawsuit. There were also plans to sell one generator per town in the more rural parts of America and to let the quality of the light speak for itself.
