Summary
In Chapter 35, Georgie lands in Omaha on Christmas day. The city is blanketed in snow, and no one seems to be around. At the airport, Georgie cannot find the taxi she expected to see. Georgie is dressed inappropriately, in a T-shirt and ballet flats. Georgie searches for a taxi, but she does not see any. A young couple who saw her confusion said there would not be any taxis available on Christmas, without calling ahead. Eventually, the boy asks Georgie if she needs a ride somewhere. She agrees.
